There are several reasons why dental implants in the UK are so much more expensive than abroad.

The main implant suppliers in the UK charge UK dentists more than they charge in Europe. They are very secretive about what they charge for their implants – try going onto their websites to find out what they cost - you can’t, as they do not show this information. Implantium has nothing to hide and you can look at what we charge the dentists. We charge our dentists a lot less!

Many of the bigger companies in the UK have large sales force and very high entertainment budgets. Our philosophy is to keep it simple and cut down the cost whilst selling a top quality product.

Other countries in the EU have government schemes which either cover at least some of the cost of treatment. In the UK implants are not available in NHS general practice and the patient has to bear the full cost.

Healthcare is a labour intensive business and wage costs in the UK are higher than some other countries.
