I have recently purchased a DASK. I am to use it soon on a case for the Royal College of Surgeons and in my case introduction I am stating:
"It was also felt that as access was good the lateral access window could be
reliably, quickly and safely achieved with a large rotary diamond bur with
central irrigation rotating at approximately 1000rpm: the DASK (Dentium
Advanced Sinus Kit) produced by Implantium. This technique was chosen
rather than standard exposure by means of a round bur or even piezo surgery
as the hydrolic effect has been shown to push the membrane of the sinus away
in advance of the bur head. This technique had been shown to me via a
mentor in Manchester"
