Conversion clinical support

For experienced users of their implant systems the easy and intuitive way the Implantium system works should present no problems for conversion. However we are able to offer a practice visit by a fully qualified nurse with over 10 years full time experience of dental implants. She would be able to go through use and maintenance of the system.

For very high volume customers a practice visit by Jason Buglass can be arranged.

One day course

An opportunity to place several implants in real patients at our training facility. Only available to those already placing implants. (Proof of this and adequate professional indemnity as well as current GDC registration is required).

Introduction to Dental Implants

For those with no implant experience a week long course covering the theory of implant treatment, hands on using plastic models pigs' heads etc., as well as interactive treatment planning culminating in the supervised placement of an implant in a patient provided for you. (Proof of GDC registration and adequate professional indemnity required).

Certificate in Clinical Implant Dentistry

Direct supervision by experienced clinicians learning their top tips.

A ten day module treating a recording at least 6 cases from diagnosis to follow up. This will involve some theory but is largely direct hands on clinical treatment of patients selected and allocated to you from a bank of patients provided by the clinic. Starting with the treatment and diagnosis moving through placement to restoration. Initially for simple and then increasingly complex cases.

For those having completed a minimum of the one week course or equivalent. (Proof of GDC registration and adequate professional indemnity required). A logbook detailing treatment will be produced as part of this course which should be invaluable in demonstrating experience of training.

We will be working to the suggestions for implant training of the GDC and the specifications if the Implant Diploma of The Royal College Surgeons, Edinburgh.
