Implantium UK Ltd is the brainchild of Managing Director, Jason Buglass – a man on a mission to change the face of the implant business. After many years personal experience of buying implants, he realised that the only way he could actually buy them in the way that he wished, was to set up his own business. He takes up the story...

“I wanted a top class product. And the Dentium system is, I believe, the best system available. But just having a good product wasn’t enough. I wanted top class service, from friendly helpful people, who genuinely knew their stuff. So we invested in training, and supported our team’s aim for excellence. And feedback from our customers suggests that our staff (many recruited from implant practices) do just that.

“I wanted support and training, so we launched Dentale and now probably train more implant dentists than anyone else in the UK. I wanted to deal with someone who was genuinely straightforward, and who treated people fairly. So at Implantium we make sure that what you see is what you get. And I didn’t want to pay inflated prices for all this. So we managed our costs to keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.”

So has Implantium done it? To judge by the phenomenal growth (over 100% per annum) a significant number of people obviously think so. And have they finished yet? The Implantium team, and Jason in particular, still think there’s much more that can be done to advance implant dentistry in the UK – and they’re working hard right now to achieve this.
